Keylor Navas attracts Real Madrid to buy him

Keylor Navas attracted the attention of Real Madrid after the shot-stopper from Costa Rica made a number of splendid performances during the 2014 World Cup and the Spanish side did not hesitate in offloading €10 million in order to trigger the buyout clause that Navas had with his former club Levante.

It’s been over 5 months since Navas completed his move to Real Madrid and so far he has made 2 league appearances which isn’t a very high amount as IkerCasillas continues being the main choice for Carlo Ancelotti but Navashas not given up hope and the Costa Rican player has faith that he can establish himself as the number one choice shot-stopper for the club someday.

"I like challenges and this is a great one for my career. I'll work with humility to earn my place in the team. I want to win lots of titles with this club. I chose Real Madrid to be here for a long time and I will succeed, I have faith that I'll get it." Real Madrid’s KeylorNavas said.

At the age of 33, it remains unsure as to how many more seasons IkerCasillas wants to continue playing at a high level for Real Madrid but when that time does finally arrive it will be a huge chance for KeylorNavas to step it up and establish his presence in the Spanish squad but things could turn very difficult for Navas even with the absence of Casillas.

Real Madrid has already started searching around trying to find a player that can replace IkerCasillas and Manchester United’s David de Gea has fit the bill.

David de Gea is hailed as one of the most promising youngsters in the world of football and Real Madrid has already displayed their interest in the 24 year old shot-stopper who keeps on making impressing performances in every match he performs in for Manchester United in the Premier League.

If Real Madrid does manage to sign David de Gea from Manchester United, KeylorNavas will probably continue having to settle with a place on the sidelines of the Spanish club.
