Newly crowned Champions League winners Real Madrid are in talks to sign French international AurelienTchouameni from AS Monaco in the French top flight according to various reports in the media. Real Madrid are one of the teams keen on signing Tchouameni from AS Monaco during this summer’s transfer window. Premier League giants Liverpool and French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are also keen on signing Tchouameni from Monaco.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano gave an update on the pursuit of Tchouameniby Real Madrid earlier in the week. According to him, Real Madrid are in talks with Monaco to sign the midfielder and that they have already offered €80m plus bonuses.

Real Madrid are notresting on their laurels after taking their 14th European title at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis some days ago by beating Liverpool in the Champions League final. Brazil international Vinicius Junior scored just before the hour mark to win the game for Real Madrid at the expense of the Reds. Liverpool were slight favourites ahead of the final, but they were stunned by the goal from ViniciusJunior. After the win over the Reds, Real Madrid have now won seven more titles than any other team. Italian champions AC Milan are the next team on the list of teams with the most titles and they have seven with the last one coming in 2007 thanks to the 2-1 win over Liverpool in the final.
The road to facing Liverpool in the Champions League final was not an easy one for Real Madrid after they had to see off Paris Saint Germain (PSG), defending champions Chelsea and Manchester City. The Spanish La Liga holders came from behind to see off those teams over two legs.
Real Madrid will take on German team Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Super Cup in August 2022.
