Real Madrid do not need a new players in January

Real Madrid do not need a new players in January according to the club’s new manager Zinedine Zidane.

The Frenchman came on as a replacement for Rafa Benitez, who did not manage to last even 12 months in the job. Zidane, however, is expected to fare much better. He will have the utmost respect of the players after having been renowned for being one of the greatest players in the world. During his impeccable playing career, Zidane was crowned as the world Player of the Year on three occasions. He has a great job of having to lift the team especially in the la Liga.

The club are behind Atletico Madrid and Barcelona by several points already. They face yet another season without a league title. Despite possessing an array of superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, the club has failed to match the consistency shown by the likes of Barcelona and Atletico. Rather than spending money on new players, Zidane says that he wants to concentrate on the existing stars who are reportedly linked with exits from the Santiago Bernabeu. Nacho has made just seven league appearances this season and the 26-year-old defender is thought to be keen on quitting Madrid.

However, Zidane has reiterated that the defender remains key part of the plans going forward. "No, I don't think it is necessary to reinforce the squad. I am not going to look outside for what I already have inside. Nacho is not leaving. He is young, the future of the team, he trained well with total normality and nothing more. He won't leave. I prefer to choose between these four and that is my responsibility, each week will be different. We have 26 players. We will need everyone for sure," said Zidane, whose first match will be against Deportivola Coruna.
