Real Madrid Crashes the Opponent in La Liga

Throughout the world, there are some matches that you can describe as the fight between the arch-rivals. In different leagues, there are some derbies where the fans bet their everything for their team. In the Spanish football league La Liga, the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid has been tagged as the El Clasico as this match divides the whole world into two halves.


Lots of epic battles have been fought between these two teams and lots of great players have played for these two teams. Now in the current season, Real Madrid has taken the glory to win the El Clasico which took place at Camp Nou on Saturday. But this El Clasico was a bit different from the other ones from various perspectives.

The first thing that was notable in this match was that Sergio Dest was selected for the match whereas Antoine Griezman had to sit on the reserve bench for Barcelona. Dest became the first-ever American footballer to play for Barcelona in the 118th year’s history of El Clasico. Though there are several positive points for Barcelona, Real Madrid was not left behind. They scored their first goal against Barcelona in the 5th minute of the match. But within 4 minutes Barca’s Ansu Fati scored the equalizer for them. After that both the teams got many chances but there was nothing but a yellow card to Madrid’s Casemiro as he fouled Lionel Messi. In the half time, both the teams were in equal stands but in the second half, Real Madrid took the match from Berca and sealed their victory. As Madrid was taking hold of the match Barca skipper Clement Lenglet fouled Ramos inside the box and gave a penalty goal. Real Madrid’s Luka Modrich put the last ball into the net at the 90th minute.
