Real Madrid has not given up in signing David de Gea but their patience is ending

Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla are the goal-keepers that will be competing against each other for a spot in the starting lineup of Rafael Benitez for the next season but even though Benitez already has at his disposal 2 goal-keepers, this has not stopped Real Madrid from attempting to sign Manchested United’s David de Gea as the Spanish club still has hopes in luring him into the Santiago Bernabeu.

The summer transfer window reaches it’s end on September 1st and this gives Real Madrid a substantially long period of time for them to make a few more signings but their primary target is undoubtedly David de Gea.

Since the start of the summer, Real Madrid has been attempting to sign David de Gea and the Spanish outfit is still trying to accomplish this mission but after many offers, the time has come for Manchester United to decide on whether or not to let David de Gea leave Old Trafford.
Real Madrid has given Manchester United an ultimatum as they have launched a last bid for David de Gea of around €21 million in order to secure the services of the 24 years shot-stopper.

A few weeks ago on July 27, Sergio Romero was signed by Manchester United and this could mean that the Premier League club is preparing themselves for the possible departure of David de Gea but one of the main problems that has risen for Real Madrid and their attempts to sign David de Gea is that Manchester United has a bigger asking price and have even asked for other players to be included in the deal.

Sergio Ramos was rumored to be on the verge of leaving Santiago Bernabeu as he was going to be used as leverage to lure in David de Gea but it hasn’t happened and it’s highly unlikely that it will occur considering that Ramos recently signed a contract extension and is the new captain of Real Madrid following the exit of Iker Casillas.
Manchester United now has to decide in selling or keeping David de Gea and they have to do it soon as Real Madrid gave the Premier League outfit an ultimatum.
